MTB News: After the long off-season with a lot of speculation, the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup season 2019 will finally start next weekend. In Maribor, Slovenia, the old masters Greg Minnaar and Aaron Gwin have to assert themselves against the young racers once again. The ladies will also have a great time! Can the British dominance of 2018 be broken? The races on Sunday will be streamed live on Red Bull TV.

After the seven-month break, the Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup 2019 will start next weekend. The fans can already look forward to new faces, new venues and new teams. Above all, there is one question: Can South African Greg Minnaar and USA's Aaron Gwin, who had to sit out much of the 2018 season through injury, hold their own against the new generation of wild racers? Looking back over the past year, the ladies have seen incredible British dominance. Can this be broken in 2019? Of course, the German racers are also receiving increased attention. Will Nina Hoffmann from Saalfeld make it onto the podium? Everything speaks for an exciting season! Those who don't want to miss the spectacle in Maribor should follow the races live in stream on Red Bull TV next Sunday. In addition to the English commentary, Red Bull also offers a German-language live stream. The first World Cup race of the season will be accompanied by Guido Heuber with former European Champion and six-time Austrian State Champion Markus Pekoll.
