Product news: Ortlieb Atrack BP: New backpack for bikepacking - Made in Germany!

April 11, 2019 by the editorial office

Product news: The Atrack product family satisfies many needs for your personal adventure. It doesn't matter whether you set off on your next overnighter in bikepacking style, with a packraft or with snowshoes. The waterproof Active Traveling backpack for all sports -Ortlieb Atrack BP- supplements this multifunctional series with a backpack that once again underlines the special needs of bikepacking.

Clearly recognizable, the bikepacking-specific adjustment with the helmet holder.

The Ortlieb Atrack (Here is our test) as a base and adjusted where necessary. The hip fins that get in the way when biking have been greatly reduced and the entire silhouette has been made a little slimmer. A special helmet holder and the special design of the bikepacking line have also been added. For the right fit, the Ortlieb Atrack BP (bikepacking) offers stepless back adjustment. Together with the breathable contact surfaces on the back and the reduced hip belt, this should ensure a clean distribution of the load. Overall, the backpack has a sufficient packing volume of 25 liters, which can be fully used down to the last cubic centimetre. Even bulkier items such as a mat or tent can be attached using the fastening straps on the outside of the backpack.

Ortlieb Atrack BP: Waterproof and well thought out

No annoying hip fins and the back length is adjustable.

Nothing less than the definition of a new backpack category, that is the claim with which the product family of ORTLIEB Atracks was developed. The IP67 waterproof Atrack BP is unique due to the position of the Tizip zipper and the associated opening principle. The inside of the bag can be easily accessed via the wide opening, so there is no need to search and rummage around, as is often the case with classic top-loader backpacks. Of course, the integration of a drinking system is also possible without any problems, without restricting the water resistance.

Ortlieb Atrack BP: A companion not just for bikepacking

The Atrack BP is a full-fledged outdoor backpack specializing in bikepacking and a travel bag in one. In addition, the Atrack BO can be quickly customized with the wide range of accessories and adapted for any outdoor or urban adventure. The attachment of the accessories and the compression straps are carried out via the large number of daisy chains. Four inside pockets and a compression strap ensure good subdivision and sorting inside the bag.

The Ortlieb Atrack BP is also sustainable "Made in Germany"!
