E-Performance: From 18.-19. On May XNUMXst, Berlin's Kurfürstendamm will be transformed into a two-kilometer mile of automobile history - the Berlin Classic Days. Technibike uses exactly this frame to present the new urban e-bike from the Cooper brand. The Cooper E is an e-bike with automotive history, because the forefather of this modern classic is probably John Cooper himself, the inventor of the Mini.
Cooper Bikes: E-Bikes from Cooper – John Cooper, the inventor of the MINI.
Cooper Bikes is the division of the Cooper Car Company that deals with the topic of bikes. Cooper: A brand inspired by a man who refused to do only what was known and tried and chose to go his own way. A brand whose achievements have made it a legend. John Cooper was the most radical automotive engineer in racing history. Despite the prevailing design, he was the first to build a rear-engine racing car and was the first to win a Formula 1 race in such a racing car. The man who saw the Mini for what it was: a perfectly handling car that could win races; ultimately leading to the creation of the legendary Mini Cooper.

It is this history of technology and innovation that makes Cooper what it is today. The same Cooper focus on technology and innovative engineering spirit is no longer applied to cars but to bicycles and pedelecs. In 2009, Mike and Charlie Cooper, John Cooper's son and grandson, revived the Cooper brand's claim to bikes.

In cooperation with TechniBike, Cooper Bikes launched the first Cooper E-Bikes, the Cooper E and the Cooper E Disc. Together, TechniBike and Cooper will progressively change the shape of modern urban cycling.
The Cooper E: Standing out through understatement.
Stylish, elegant and reduced to the essentials. The Cooper E is the perfect commuter and city bike and not recognizable as an e-bike at first glance. With a total weight of less than 13,8 kg and a fully integrated rear wheel hub motor with
Recuperation, so that the battery can be charged while driving, the Cooper E Bikes are a piece of automotive history and an extravagant alternative to the everyday bike. The Cooper E features the same 'KERS' (Brake Energy Regeneration) technology used in Formula 1 racing cars. The system can also be individually configured via an app. The Cooper E is available in four unique colours, Matt Black, Deep Gloss Blue, Matt Brilliant White and Matt Dark Cocoa, as well as a chain drive variant with rim brakes for €2.499 and a disc variant with belt drive and disc brakes for €2.799.
