Enduro One season start in Aschau i. Ch. postponed due to the onset of winter

MTB News: The Enduro One racing series was supposed to start the season in Aschau i. Ch. celebrate, but now the weather is throwing a spanner in the works for the organizer and the racers. Race in Aschau will be postponed to June 29th/30th due to the weather

After temperatures like in summer, winter returns with an icy fist at the weekend - at least in the mountains. The weather experts in nearby Innsbruck are forecasting continuous rain for the entire week, which will be increased on Saturday and Sunday by snowfall down to the valley and temperatures around freezing point. As it is to be expected that some of the routes will be covered in snow, extremely deep and muddy, the race will be postponed for safety reasons. Not only a rough blow for the organizer and the racers. In the last few weeks, the trails around the Kampenwand have been prepared for the event by a number of volunteers. The season opener of the Enduro One racing series 2019 will now take place on 1./2. June in Winterberg. The date for the race in Aschau i. Ch. is also already certain: On 29./30. June the racers can then tackle the routes around the Kampenwand.
