E performance: A few weeks ago we took a look at the new Nox bike in Riva. The Nox Hybrid 5.9 Mag S All Mountain. The official launch will then take place at the Eurobike Media Days in Tyrol at the beginning of July. We have made an appointment for a test ride, you will find out everything you need to know and how the bike performs on the trail here at Velomotion.de.
We can only reveal the key facts in advance, because the bike in Riva was a prototype and will not go into series production. There will still be some changes both visually and in the specs.
What we know about the Nox Hybrid 5.9 Mag S Allmountain:
- It is an enduro or all-mountain with 160mm travel
- Powered by the Brose Drive S Mag drive
- 630 WH integrated and removable
- The wheel can be converted between 2 wheel sizes, both 27,5 and 29 inches are possible.
- The weight should be around 23 kilos in the series.
- There will be 3 trim levels: Pro, Expert and Comp.
- These will be in the price range between €4700 and €6700.
- The geometry is moderately modern, no experiments are carried out.
The Pro equipment will be available for around €7000. Then the Nox Hybrid 5.9 Mag S comes with Fox Factory suspension, consisting of a 36 fork and the Dpx damper. It should be shifted with a Sram XO Eagle 12-speed group. A Magura MT 7 four-piston brake system should ensure ample braking power. The wheels are built with Stans Flow rims.
We are excited to see how the Nox Hybrid 5.9 Mag S performs in our test, we will report.
