Product news: Strider children's balance bikes will soon also be available in Germany

June 6, 2019 by Andrew Waldera

Product News: Since 2007, the US manufacturer Strider Sports International has been developing and designing functional balance bikes for small children. After selling more than two million bikes worldwide, the brand is now expanding its catchment area to include Germany. The products will soon be available via Amazon.

The US manufacturer Strider Sports International focuses on the challenge of getting the little ones excited about cycling. The different stations of the learning process are to be accompanied by innovative wheel designs. The aim is to train the kids' sense of balance and coordination in a playful and fun way. The product range includes bikes and products that are specially tailored to the different learning phases.

From babies to toddlers: bikes for kids from 6 months to 7 years

With the Sport/Pro Baby Bundle (Rocking Base + Strider Bike), mini bikers learn the importance of balance and stability even before they start running. A clever solution that has it all: As soon as the little ones can walk and are familiar with the bike, the Strider can be detached from the base and thus converted into a balance bike. The range includes the Strider 18 Sport and Pro models for children aged 3 months to 12 years. The following Strider 14x Sport, which can be retrofitted with pedals in a few simple steps, is aimed at the age group 3 to 7 years. The products will soon be available in Germany via Amazon.

With the sale, the company based in Rapid City (South Dakota) is also supporting a good cause: Strider Education and the Rider Fund support children and adults who would otherwise not have the opportunity to learn to ride a bike. In the future, it might also be worth taking a look at the company's calendar of events. The events bring together kids between the ages of two and five from all over the world. Cool and friendly races are on the program – certainly not just fun for little racers!
