Restructuring at Sunweb

With the obligation of Nico Denz (AG2R La Mondiale) and Jasha Sutterlin (Movistar) the team is set up more for the classics. This development has now been confirmed by the signing of the contract Tiesj Benoot (Lotto – Soudal). The departure of Tom Dumoulin to Team Jumbo – Visma now completes the transformation of Team Sunweb. His new team is moving in a completely different direction. Jumbo – Visma gives along Danny van Poppel a strong sprinter and classic hunter, but receives a strong tour driver in the person of Tom Dumoulin. With Primoz Roglic, George Bennett, Laurens de Plus and Steven Kruijswijk he can fall back on strong helpers in the mountains there, but they will also have their own ambitions.
