Product news: Not all bicycles are the same, and not all geometry is the same. With the Liv Pique 29, Giant's sister brand has introduced a new cross-country bike especially for women. Not only was the racing demands of XC sport taken into account, but the special requirements of the female anatomy were also taken into account.

Liv Pique 29: With high-tech on the podium
"The new Pique 29 models were designed for cross-country racers who prefer to be at the top of the podium and for endurance drivers who like to go fast. This bike is incredibly agile and is suitable for steep uphill sprints as well as technical or flowy passages where it easily maintains the speed,” says Ludi Scholz, Liv Global Bicycle Category Manager.
Liv not only relies on light materials and the best components. Because the brand new Fox Live suspension was installed as the suspension system in the top model. It makes it possible to find the perfect setting while riding and then lock the suspension elements if necessary, but also release them again fully automatically at the right time.
Liv Pique 29: The 3F Philosophy
The Liv 3F design process takes into account thousands of datasets of female anatomy, sizing, and energy utilization from muscle power - all of this data was used to create the Pique 29 from the ground up specifically for women. Prototypes of the new bike were tested worldwide by LIV athletes and professional rider Kaysee Armstrong - their feedback was incorporated into the series bike as fine tuning.
“I rode a Pique 29 prototype for the first time this spring at the Sea Otter Festival in California – I've raced it all since then. I'm incredibly impressed with the performance of the bike. It fits me perfectly and gives me optimal handling,” says Armstrong. "The new Pique 29 is the most direct race-oriented bike I've ever ridden - it makes my job easier on any terrain. With its 29 inch wheels, its ultra-light design and all sorts of other high-performance features, this bike really heralds a new era in the racing circuit.”
