Eurobike 2019: Sigma Sport highlights for 2020

September 6, 2019 by the editorial office

Product news/Eurobike2019: Sigma Sport traveled to Eurobike 2019 with a whole bag full of innovations. The highlights for the coming season include the iD.FREE/iD.TRI sports watches and the Blaze rear light with brake light function. Nasrin from Sigma Sport presents the news to you exclusively in the Velomotion video.

iD.FREE and iD.TRI: New sports watches for multisport and triathlon

Sigma Sport is expanding the sports watch line iD.SERIES with two new models. Both watches come with GPS and heart rate monitor on hand. For cyclists, both models come with a practical SnapOn Bike Mount handlebar mount. The iD.TRI was specially developed for triathlon and has extensive training functions, individually configurable workouts and a competition mode. Both the iD.TRI and the iD.FREE offer connectivity via Bluetooth Smart and ANT+, which makes it easy to connect smartphones or external sensors.

EOX series for the e-bike market

With the new EOX series, e-bike manufacturers and end users are offered a holistic solution. The series consists of three components in total. The EOX Remote 500 is not only used to control the drive, but also provides information about the most important system information using the six-color LED display, even without a display. Thanks to Bluetooth, the module can also be connected to the ROX series from SIGMA SPORT. The EOX View 1200 e-bike computer displays a large number of e-bike-specific values as well as all classic bike computer data. In connection with the EOX app, the third component, the display can also show route instructions from komoot.

AURA series front lights and BLAZE rear lights with brake light function

There is also news to report in the field of bicycle lighting. The AURA front light series is expanded with the new, rechargeable headlights AURA 35 USB, AURA 45 USB and AURA 80 USB. All bicycle lights are splash-proof according to IPX4 as standard and have StVZO approval. Also new is the BLAZE rear light with brake light function and integrated brightness sensor. Very commendable: The new Sigma packaging concept uses plastic-free packaging and FSC-certified cardboard for the lighting area.
