Product News / E-Bike: From retro tourers to e-fully bikes – the traditional Hercules brand is more diverse than ever. And between the more conventional series there are some groundbreaking exotics. We present some highlights of the Hercules e-bikes 2020.
Hercules, the brand with the sonorous name, is expanding. Classic trekking bikes and touring bikes are still in the range, but a range of e-bikes has also developed over the years, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of width and depth and has a lot to offer from "comfortable" to "sporty".
Hercules e-bikes 2020: Hercules Futura
The trekking and touring bikes naturally make up the largest items. The Futura series, which contains such exciting models as the Hercules Futura Pro I-F360, deserves special mention here. The new "Bosch Performance CX" motor, powered by a long-range battery with 625 watt hours, is emblazoned on the discreetly technical aluminum frame. The fast bike is completed with a stepless Enviolo gear hub, belt drive and a soft, responsive air suspension fork.
Hercules e-bikes 2020: Hercules Intero
Another drive variant is offered by the inexpensive Intero model range (from €2.499) with the gently responding Panasonic mid-motor. There are two shifting variants to choose from: eight-speed hub with back pedal and eight-speed derailleur. The integrated battery is available with three capacities (417, 504, 630 Wh); With identical equipment, you can save up to 400 euros if you don't have to rely on long ranges.

Hercules e-bikes 2020: Hercules Viverty
A successful retro look is the focus of the Viverty city bikes (from €2.599): gooseneck frame with a low entry, painted in beautiful pastel shades, plus Bosch Active Plus with either 400 or 500 watt hours in the luggage rack battery. These urban bikes are solidly equipped with hydraulic brakes and a seven-speed hub gear, optionally with an additional coaster brake.

Hercules e-bikes 2020: Hercules Futura Fold
In the 2020 model year, a new chapter will be opened in the e-folding bike segment. The Futura Fold Carbon (€5.999) is a future-oriented model that, with its innovative carbon fiber frame and no less future-oriented Fazua drive, is unbeatable in terms of weight and riding characteristics. Above 25 km/h, the motor decouples completely so that the handy bike rolls along easily; the smooth-surfaced joint on the main frame is worth seeing.

Hercules e-bikes 2020: Hercules NOS
Hercules is uncompromising when it comes to E-MTBs. Maximum suspension travel, maximum range - the E-Fully NOS FS Pro 1.1 (€4.599) offers both, plus the most powerful motor from Brose with a total of 90 Nm of torque, which is brought onto the trail in a controlled manner in "Flex Power" mode. The 750 Wh battery is not drained even after long climbs; downhill, 150 mm of travel at the front and rear plus a dropper post ensure undiminished fun on the descent – if you can do it.
