Thus, the events are not only very interesting for performance-oriented frequent drivers, but also for beginners. The 2020 Mountain Bike Challenge, which will be held in three countries, combines several individual events into a whole series.

Gonso Albstadt MTB Classic – CANCELLED
The Gonso Albstadt MTB Classic with the short marathon will also take place in 2020 on the usual date in May. For the 15th edition, the organizer has announced an e-bike category for the first time. Of course, the hobby races over 23 or 46 kilometers, Generation Race, the Family and Friends rating and the DM for the medical professions remain unchanged.

Canyon Rhine Hunsrueck MTB Marathon
The Middle Rhine isn't stingy with its charms either: The four routes of the Canyon Rhein Hunsrück MTB Marathon lead the participants through the idyllic landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage. The start/finish area in the historic center of Rhens is also characteristic of the event. A special race for kids will be held the day before the marathon.

Franconian Bike Marathon
The Franconian Bike Marathon ranges from Franconian rough to smart flowy. The routes lead through the beautiful low mountain range landscape on the edge of the Franconian Switzerland - Veldensteiner Forst nature park. The 23rd edition offers three distances, and there are separate rating classes for e-bikers and enduro riders. The organizer of the event is the RVC Trieb.

Participation in the largest bike event in Saarland is not only worthwhile for mountain bikers in south-west Germany. The SaarschleifenBike-Marathon leads around the Saarschleife into the high forest - spectacular views and tough climbs are guaranteed. In addition to three marathon distances, there is also a family tour and two routes especially for e-bikers.

VulkanBike Eifel Marathon
With around 2.000 participants, the VulkanBike Eifel Marathon not far from Daun is one of the largest marathon events in Germany. The Mountainbike Challenge 2020 includes nine events in three countries. The Woidman in Thurmansbang marked the start in April after the forced snow-related break in 2019.
