Spectrum: VELOBerlin is celebrating a milestone birthday this year with an extensive supporting and test program. To mark the 10th anniversary, 18 exhibitors and 19 brands will present themselves at the bicycle festival in the capital on April 300th and 500th. The main sponsor of VELOBerlin 2020 is the Berlin-based e-bike system provider Brose.
From April 18th to 19th, 2020 everything in Berlin will revolve around the bicycle. The VELOBerlin bicycle festival awaits more than 20.000 bicycle fans at Tempelhof Airport, who will find a wide range of 300 exhibitors and 500 brands. In addition to many innovations in the e-bike and urban sectors, the focus this year is also on children's and youth bikes, cargo bikes and gravel bikes. All bikes can be tried out by visitors on five large and themed test tracks.
A variety of lectures and workshops from urban mobility to VELOWomen to extreme adventures are offered on the stages and in the VELOSaloons. Ultra athlete and adventurer Jonas Deichmann, for example, reports in detail on his 18.000 kilometers and 72 days in the saddle at the "Cape to Cape" world record. If you want to actively pedal yourself, you can do so at the VELOBerlin Airfield Race with youth and amateur races. In a sprint race, participants with track cycling icon Robert Förstemann can expect particularly tough competition.
