Teuns still wins a stage

Not just once was Dylan teuns (Bahrain – McLaren) poised to win a stage this week. Now the Belgian was successful in the final time trial. In the 13,0 kilometer battle against the clock with start and finish in Mijas, his time stopped at 17:57. At the same time, the overall winner also finished Jakob Fuglsang (Astana) left his job as second on the day. The Dane – who also wins the points classification – can thus successfully repeat his victory from last year. In the overall standings he is at the end of the 66th Ruta del Sol with 59 and 72 seconds Jack Haig (Mitchelton-Scott) and Mikel Landa (Bahrain-McLaren). The mountain rating is on Floris DeTier (Alpecin-Fenix).
