Higuita cements EF's success

The EF team started the fourth stage of the Tour Colombia with four men at the top of the overall standings. One of them managed to win the section and take the lead jersey. Sergio Higuita (EF) was the fastest man after 168,6 kilometers on the way from Paipa to Santa Rosa de Viterbo. He left his Colombian compatriot and reigning Tour winner Egan Bernal (Ineos) and the French Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck – Quick-Step) behind. As a result, Sergio Higuita also takes over the lead in the overall standings from his team-mate Jonathan Klever Caicedo (EF).
