Higuita before Martinez and Caicedo
The third Tour Colombia was entirely in the hands of Team EF. The pink and blue squad dominated not only the opening team time trial but also the final stage. Daniel Felipe Martínez and Sergio Higuita secured the one-two finish, beating Tour de France winner Egan Bernal (Ineos) by three seconds to take third place. The overall victory thus went to Sergio Higuita, ahead of his teammates Daniel Felipe Martínez and Jonathan Klever Caicedo . The overall classification was therefore decided on day one, when Team EF dominated the team time trial and established a significant lead over their rivals.
