Quintana also sovereign on the last day

Nairo Quintana (Arkéa – Samsic) is currently bursting with confidence and strength. On the last day of the 52nd Tour du Haut-Var he left well-known competitors behind on undulating terrain. On the 136,0 kilometer stage from La Londe to Le Mont Faron, a seventh place was enough to no longer jeopardize the overall victory.

In front of him, the breakaways were allowed to decide the day's victory among themselves. Julien bernard (Trek – Segafredo) was there in front of his French compatriots Nan's Peters (AG2R La Mondiale) and Leo Vincent (Groupama – FDJ) and at the same time organize victory in the mountains classification. Triumphs in the overall standings Nairo Quintana with a lead of 40 seconds Romain Bardet (AG2R La Mondiale) and Richie porte (Trek – Segafredo). The Colombian can also look forward to first place in the points classification. At the end of the three days, the best young driver is the Hungarian Attila Valter (CCC).
