News: Together with the Waldsassen site in Upper Palatinate, Sennfeld near Schweinfurt has played a central role for the Winora Group since 2019. At the beginning of the year, the new Innovation & Service Center was occupied on the 30.000 square meter premises in Sennfeld. The departments Global I&T, Headquarter Sports, Service, Quality Management and Compliance are all under one roof.
With the expansion of the Sennfeld site, the Winora Group is preparing for the future. According to the company, the main focus this year is on strengthening the range of services for dealers and customers. Sennfeld is therefore of central importance alongside Waldsassen. The Accell Central Europe business is managed from both locations, both in the bicycle and parts sectors. This includes the brands Haibike, Ghost, Lapierre, Koga and XLC. The I&T and Service departments are now under one roof for shorter feedback loops and even closer consultation.
"I am delighted that we were able to create a state-of-the-art Innovation & Service Center with a bright and open atmosphere. Through the close integration of I&T and service, we bundle competencies under one roof and at the same time strengthen our range of services for our specialist retail partners” – Dominik Thiele, Regional Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
According to Winora, internal resources have been increased and processes optimized in order to be able to offer customers and partners the best possible service. In the middle of last year, Lisa Vollert took over the team management for the service department. With her many years of expertise from various customer service departments, she is responsible for a 19-strong service team in Sennfeld. A 24/7 customer service and support is currently being introduced via the new ticket system. The feedback generated through personal exchange, regular surveys and proactive needs monitoring should flow directly into the quality and innovation processes.
