Giro d'Italia: No news before April 3rd

It has been hinted at in recent weeks. Italy, badly hit by the corona virus, fears for the Giro d'Italia. Although no official news had been announced in the days before, fans and experts were already speculating in the background as to whether the Tour of Italy could even be held in May. Now it looks like we got an answer. Because now we know: The Giro d'Italia will not start in Budapest as planned. The politician responsible for this, Mariusz Revesz, addressed the public and announced this. Giro race director Mauro Vegni already expressed his doubts yesterday. There will be no news regarding a new date or a new start location before April 3rd. Until then, there will hardly be any bike races anyway. In this global crisis surrounding the corona virus, there are simply more important things at the moment.
