Product news: Bluegrass is starting the new enduro and downhill season with completely revised back protectors. After a year of intensive testing, the two models Armor B&S D30 and Armor Lite come with new fabric, a new fit and fine detail solutions. The features include, among other things, hydration bladder compatibility and the slim-fit cut, which is intended to make it easy to wear under a jersey.

Armor B&S D30 protector jacket
Available in four sizes, the Bluegrass Armor B&S D30 is a jacket with a back protector and shoulder pads. The latest D30 protectors are used to protect the rider. The D30 shells combine safety with the highest level of ergonomics. The anatomically placed full back protector is designed to effectively protect the spine and, according to the manufacturer, sits low enough not to press against the jersey collar or the full-face helmet. The removable shoulder protectors have also been placed a little further back for an optimal fit when driving.

Light, stretchy and breathable mesh fabric is used as the carrier material. The soft pads in the chest and stomach area ensure a unisex fit. Thanks to the slim-fit cut, the jacket can be worn perfectly under a jersey. Another feature of the Bluegrass Armor B&S D30 protector jacket is the hydration bladder compatibility, which allows it to be equipped with a hydration bladder. Last but not least, the most necessary equipment can be stowed in the three back pockets. One of these pockets can also be closed with a zipper. The price of the EN 1621-2, Level1 certified jacket is 190,00 euros.
Bluegrass Armor Lite protector vest
The Bluegrass Armor Lite vest with 3-layer EVA full back protector is ideal for rides where light equipment is popular. Light and stretchy mesh fabric is also used as the carrier material. The new slim-fit cut should allow the vest to be worn perfectly under a jersey. Like the Bluegrass Armor B&S D30 protector jacket, the Bluegrass Armor Lite can also be used with a hydration bladder. The pockets on the back (one with a zip) offer space for the most important equipment, which means that short trips without a backpack are also possible. The EN 1621-2, Level1 certified Bluegrass Armor Lite protector vest is available in four sizes at a price of 130,00 euros.
