Specialized S-Works Vent: Full steam ahead!

June 2, 2020 by Florian Nowak

Product news: Summer can come with the new Specialized S-Works Vent. Because this road bike shoe has been specially developed for hot days in the sun and is also based on the design, comfort and performance of the S-Works 7 shoe, which is so popular with professionals and cycling fans. With a Technical mesh upper, two generous ventilation portals on the toes and a ventilated outsole make the S-Works Vent the perfect choice for summer.

With an innovative ventilation concept, the Specialized S-Works Vent shoe is designed to keep feet cool even in hot temperatures. The engineered mesh upper is reinforced with Dyneema, which is 15x stronger than steel and lighter than carbon, to provide an ideal combination of support and comfort. In addition to the ventilation inserts, the upper material is supple despite its cut-resistant properties and adapts to the individual shape of the foot.

When it comes to fit, the two Boa fasteners also come into play, which not only ensure great pressure distribution and the best grip, but were also developed together with the fastener manufacturer and cannot be found anywhere else except on the S-Works Vent. The CNC-milled aluminum fasteners not only offer more elegance, but also have a spring clutch interior and adjustment options in the millimeter range. The goal: Long-lasting function and precise adjustment options.

The PadLock heel construction, on the other hand, also ensures a secure fit at the end of the shoe, while the extremely light and ventilated carbon outsole, inspired by the S-Works Exos shoe, combines ventilation and power transmission. With its four vents, it ensures a high volume of air that cools your feet while still achieving a stiffness index of 13, despite being the
is the lightest outsole that Specialized has ever developed. Thus, both performance and the unique ventilation should be guaranteed.

Specialized S-Works Vent - Body Geometry Technology

Like all Specialized shoes, the S-Works Vent is built around Body Geometry technology to increase performance, increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury
by optimizing hip, knee and foot alignment.

The Specialized S-Works Vent will be available for EUR 399,90.
