As expected, the fourth stage from Tirreno – Adriatico should be an exciting one. The professionals had to cover 194,0 kilometers from Terni to Cascia on hilly terrain. At the end of the strenuous day, Lucas Hamilton (Mitchelton – Scott) happy about the day's win. The Australian has thus moved up to fourth place in the overall standings. The Canadian is still in the blue jersey Michael Woods (EF). Rafal Mayka (Bora – hansgrohe) is only 9 seconds behind but still in wait. Geraint Thomas (Ineos) is sixth, 34 seconds back.
