Austrian MTB Marathon Championships

MTB News: The Austrian MTB Marathon Championships 18 will be held in Bad Goisern on October 2020th. Participants without a license can start at a different time or compete over a shorter distance with fewer meters in altitude. The title fights were originally supposed to take place in Kleinzell at the end of May, but were canceled due to Corona.

Austrian MTB Marathon Championships

At the Austrian State Championships in Bad Goisern, the licensed drivers will be going on a newly developed route with a length of more than 67 kilometres. 2620 vertical meters have to be overcome over the distance. A slightly shorter route of 51,2 kilometers and 1895 meters in altitude is also available for amateurs and hobby bikers. Both new routes also have passages off the well-known routes of the Salzkammergut Trophy. As part of the Trophy-Individual, however, all classic Trophy routes can also be used. Registration for the races is now possible, the online entry deadline is October 09th. The field of participants is limited to 200 starters per route.
