Product news: The new Sigma EOX View 1300 display was specially tailored to the requirements of e-bikers. In addition to the current ride data, e-bike-specific values such as the battery level are also displayed. Parallel to the EOX View 1300, Sigma Sport is launching a holder system specially designed for Shimano Steps drives.
With the EOX View 1300, the company from Neustadt an der Weinstraße presents an e-bike display that can be used wirelessly on the e-bike thanks to the integrated battery. As with a conventional bicycle computer, the e-bike display can be rotated into or out of the holder. Data is exchanged via the high-performance ANT+ and Bluetooth interfaces. The flat design of the display should ensure a discreet integration into the overall picture of the e-bike. It is operated using three buttons on the underside of the e-bike computer. The EOX View 1300 is also equipped with a transflective FSTN display, which improves visibility in bright surroundings and ensures ideal readability even in direct sunlight. An integrated light sensor switches the display lighting on and off automatically. The e-bike computer is supplemented by the use of the Sigma EOX app, which offers many options for individual settings and data analysis.
There are three different mounts for positioning the Sigma EOX View 1300. The OVER CLAMP BUTLER allows it to be attached directly above the stem of the MTB handlebar. The classic Sigma STS handlebar mount can also be used. A third option is aimed specifically at users of a Shimano Steps drive. The RIBBON BUTLER can be mounted on the bicycle handlebars in just a few simple steps, after which the Shimano Steps EW-EN100 connection unit is used. The innovative bracket offers two positions to choose from and thus a wireless and integrative concept for all e-bike models. Using the two LEDs on the Shimano component and the button on the RIBBON BUTLER, the user can select the support levels or switch the light on the e-bike on and off.
