E-Performance: The Pivot Shuttle has always been a racing planer with a certain noblesse that made you think: It couldn't get any better. Nevertheless, the Americans have managed to develop a kind of facelift model update of the previous noble e-bike. The engineers continue to rely on the cooperation with Shimano and are now also giving the Pivot Shuttle the long-awaited Shimano EP8 drive.
“With the new shuttle we have implemented our vision of an extremely capable all-mountain bike with clean integration of motor support. An even more aggressive geometry, the integration refined down to the last detail and a major step forward in the performance of the suspension elements, in combination with the perfectly tuned dw-Link rear triangle, make the shuttle a super fun bike - without explicitly categorizing it as an E-MTB describe. If you then add the performance of Shimano's new EP8 motor and the fantastic range to the calculation, the result is inevitable: Our shuttle takes your eMTB experiences to a new level!" – says Pivot founder Chris Cocalis
Geometrie
The geometry hardly differs from the predecessor, but the update is a lot more aggressive. Stack and reach have been increased and the steering angle has become even flatter. All in all, the shuttle has become more modern and should cut an even better figure on the trail.

This is new to the Pivot Shuttle
Pivot has also given the shuttle a makeover when it comes to equipment. Because not only the new Shimano EP8 is now on the spec list, but also the new Shimano XTR brakes and of course the massive FOX 38 suspension fork with E-MTB tune. The massive standpipes of the new 38 not only make a stable end impression, but are also designed for the roughest terrain. Nevertheless, it is in no way inferior in terms of sensitivity. The ideal fork for a bike that claims to redefine the e-bike category.
Even the small but important details have been revised and improved. The connections and controls for the Shimano E-Performance have been moved below the down tube to the side walls of the down tube. This greatly improves operation and switches and charging sockets get dirty far less quickly.
Shimano EP8
Thanks to refined motor control with smart algorithms, the Shimano EP8 makes the power transmission particularly smooth - even on the steepest and most technical trails, the shuttle gives you seamless and natural support to set your goals higher. Shimano's EP8 is not only lighter and quieter, but also more powerful than its predecessor.
We complement this new stage of evolution with ingenious handling and the legendary dw-Link chassis for unrivaled performance on the trail. The large 726 Wh battery only makes you smile tiredly at ideas of previous maximum ranges - and instead allows you to do your laps even further and explore even more.
Equipment list
The tried-and-tested combination of FOX and Shimano is also used in the new Shuttle. As the name suggests, the Team XTR almost exclusively uses Shimano XTR components and Fox Factory elements.
