Both the Scott Trail Tuned Shirts and the RC Contessa Signature Shirts are made from Polartec Delta. The manufacturer describes the fabric construction itself as the golden mean between cotton and polyester. Polartec Delta consists of hydrophilic, i.e. water-absorbing yarns, which are constructed like a honeycomb radiator to prolong the cooling effect on the skin. The hydrophilic yarn absorbs moisture in the form of sweat, as much as the body needs for natural cooling - the excess, on the other hand, is transported to the outside. The magic word here is evaporative cooling. According to Polartec, the special construction of the knit also reduces the stickiness of the fabric on damp skin. Another positive feature of the breathable fabric construction is the fast drying time.
The Scott Trail Tuned Shirts in the color atlantic blue are available for men, while the Contessa Signature Collection is aimed at women. The women's model comes in classic black, spiced up with a subtle pattern on the sleeves and back and a logo with a purple gradient.
