MTB News: Nino Schurter is the new Ambassador of the Bike Kingdom Lenzerheide. As part of a multi-year partnership with the Lenzerheide holiday region, the Swiss is now supporting communication activities relating to the popular bike region. Even at home in the Bike Kingdom, the Olympic champion and eight-time world champion knows the area around Lenzerheide, Arosa and Chur like the back of his hand.

With his likeable and down-to-earth manner, Nino Schurter, as the new figurehead of the Bike Kingdom, should make the region around Lenzerheide accessible to an even wider public. For Nino Schurter, however, the Bike Kingdom is more than "just" any bike region, it is the ideal training ground in his home. In the official announcement, the 34-year-old MTB legend explains: “The Bike Kingdom offers everything for mountain biking. From flowing trails to technically demanding passages. All this embedded in a beautiful landscape. For me it also means home. In addition, I can bike from Chur almost all year round”. The common goal of the cooperation: to present the Bike Kingdom in a way that is worthy of a kingdom - with all its natural diversity and its limitless possibilities.

As part of the partnership with the presenting partner ÖKK, five videos were shot that will be released over the course of the season. In the "Ninos Kingdom Class by ÖKK" clips, Nino Schurter explores the Bike Kingdom alone, but also with his daughter or father. At the same time, the Swiss gives the viewers tips and tricks. The first video entitled “Better safe than sorry” is already available on the Bike Kingdom YouTube channel.
