The 104th Giro d'Italia has plenty to offer – especially for breakaway riders. In the stages so far, an above-average number of escape groups have finished ahead of the peloton. Tomorrow is likely to be no different. The hilly profile is too difficult for the sprinters and too easy for the general classification contenders. In our Velomotion prediction, we're betting on Thomas De Gendt. The Belgian will be given the freedom to join the breakaway. And with his qualities, he could very well win the 147-kilometer stage from Grado to Gorizia.
