Oakley Kato: Brand new and revolutionary!

6 May 2021 by Florian Nowak

Product news: With the Oakley Kato, the eyewear manufacturer is bringing its latest model onto the market and is once again causing a stir. Attentive cycling fans have also been able to discover the glasses on one or the other professional. Oakley himself describes the glasses as "future-oriented eyewear that will revolutionize the face of sport".

The new Oakley Kato is the result of a 45-year innovation process and should provide limitless possibilities in the sporty area. Unlimited is exactly the keyword when it comes to the new Kato, because the frameless sports glasses offer an extended field of vision and should feel like a mask. Some might even claim that it allows for the gaze of a superhero. This was namely the source of inspiration for the developers of the Kato.

But not only look and style are important factors in the latest Oakley model, all technical features are also used in the Kato and should ensure first-class performance. With an adjustable bracket system and several nose pads, the aim is to guarantee the perfect fit for every face shape. In addition, the functional design adapts to the contours of the face through a plastic lens shape, which also ensures an incomparable look and absolutely clear vision. The strong yet lightweight O-Matter temple material ensures durability, while the Unobtainium rubber coating on the temples ensures all-day comfort and a non-slip hold.

With its shape, the newly designed glass in particular offers optimized coverage of the eyes and at the same time an extended field of vision, so that you can be on the road without restrictions even while driving or doing sports. Of course, the Prizm technology, which has been tried and tested for many years, is used here, which improves color perception and contrast so that you can see even more details and have no problems in difficult lighting conditions.
