Elite is expanding the already very extensive range of roller trainers. With the Rizer, the company is now presenting an innovative incline simulator with a patented steering system. With this innovative product, the cyclist should be able to train indoors, which feels as realistic as if you were really on the road. The Elite Rizer communicates wirelessly with the roller trainer, simulating ascents and descents in real time. With gradients of up to 20%, cyclists can virtually scale the steepest mountain stages in the world, descents are simulated by up to -10%. In addition to the adjustable incline of the wheel, the incline simulator integrates a patented steering system. On the one hand, the driver's avatar can be controlled on the screen, on the other hand, it enables the trainee to move smoothly.
The Rizer app allows further setting options. Although this is not absolutely necessary, it offers further options for optimization and easier use of the simulator. For example, the app shows the current gradient as a percentage and with up to five different profiles, the user can easily switch between different bikes and home trainers. The free app is available for iOS and Android. The only question that remains is the hardware. Good news: The Elite Rizer is compatible with all bicycles with disc brakes currently available on the market. The scope of delivery includes adapters for QR, 12 x 100 mm, 15 x 100 mm and 15 x 110 mm. However, if you want to use the Rizer, you must have a Direto XR, Direto XR-T, Suito, Suito-T or Tuo roller trainer. The Elite Rizer will be available from September 2021 at a price of EUR 699,99.
