Product news: The new urban helmet Alpina Idol should set standards. Designed for modern mobility, the helmet is aimed at all commuters who not only want to reach their destination in style and safely, but also ecologically. According to Alpina, it has never before developed a helmet with a lower CO2 impact.

For a world that is changing, Alpina has developed a new urban helmet. In this case, however, change does not only mean rethinking in the area of mobility, but also in production. Sustainability and a low CO2 impact are the magic words. Alpina's new flagship project aims to set standards in its class. For this purpose, the family-run company based in Sulzemoos has dug deep into its ecological bag of tricks. "Made in Germany", a hard shell based on vegetable oils and straps and ventilation mechanism made of recycled plastic - obtained from old PET bottles and textile waste - characterize the Alpina Idol. The inlay is an eco-pad made from recycled yarn. The look of the Urban helmet is deliberately kept clean and timeless. This is also ensured by the organically arranged ventilation holes and the discreet helmet shield. The Alpina Idol has an integrated rear light so that safety is not neglected in poor visibility. The helmet, which is already part of the 2022 collection, is available in two sizes and four colors at a price of 119,95 euros. The weight is specified by the manufacturer as 420 grams.
