Product news: The bicycle accessories manufacturer SKS has revised its traditional Bluemels mudguards for the 2022 season. After the relaunch, the mudguards made in Germany are presented in an elegant black design. The easy-to-assemble fastening systems should ensure individual adjustment options.
Basic mudguard set in a robust sandwich construction
With its shiny black surface and the black fastening components, the SKS Bluemels Basic fender set should leave nothing to be desired in terms of looks. But not only the design should convince, but also the points of functionality, protection and security. For this purpose, the product has a flexible sandwich construction in which extremely fine aluminum strips are embedded in a plastic casing. Thanks to the clever design, the fenders should be extremely robust, rigid and protected against corrosion. The V-struts with fixed bridges ensure an individual adjustment, the bottom bracket cut-outs should enable the user to assemble even in tight spaces. The ASR safety system guarantees that the struts are decoupled if, for example, branches get between the spokes.

SKS Bluemels style fender set with flexible spoiler
Like the basic model, the SKS Bluemels Style fender set also has a flexible sandwich construction. This means that the set can call its own the same proven features of robustness, rigidity and corrosion protection. The long design of the mudguard, in conjunction with the flexible spoiler, is intended to ensure excellent all-round protection against spray water. The newly developed V-adapter with ESC safety system ensures that the double U-struts are decoupled if branches get caught between the spokes. The matt black surface and the black fastening components complete the set optically. Both the SKS Bluemels Basic mudguard set and the Style mudguards will be available from the 1st quarter of 2022.
