Bosch Smart System: Large battery, new operating concept and connected biking
Product News / E-Bike: With the Bosch Smart System, the e-bike giant from Reutlingen offers a completely new ecosystem for e-MTBs. With the well-known CX motor, but also a large battery, new operating concept and lots of smart features including its own app. It's that time again: A new drive from Bosch is in the starting blocks! In contrast to […]
With the newly developed aluminum frame, Bulls bridges the gap between a sporty e-hardtail for off-road tours and one or two off-road excursions and practical suitability for everyday use. Accordingly, the seating position is neither too upright nor too stretched out and should therefore appeal to a wide range of e-bikers. Speaking of a wide range - the Bulls Copperhead EVO 3 is available in a large number of different variations. You can choose between 27,5 inches and 29 inches not only for the wheel size, the same applies to the frame shape. In addition to the classic diamond frame with a horizontal top tube, the models with 27,5 inch wheels are also available with a trapezoidal frame and even a step-through frame with a particularly low step-through.
In addition to the aforementioned Bosch Smart System, there is also a high-quality component package for the price of 4.299 euros. In addition to the 12-speed gears from Shimano, this also includes the in-house Bulls Lytro 34 suspension fork, which offers 120 mm of travel and can be easily adjusted to the weight of the rider using air pressure. There are also 4-piston brakes with large discs - also from Shimano - so that you can stop in time and safely even on longer descents. A real plus point is the MonkeyLink system. The bike has powered interfaces at the front and rear, where compatible lighting can be easily attached. The headlights snap into position with a magnet and are automatically supplied with energy from the e-bike battery - the control is carried out as usual via the Bosch control unit.
If you don't want to spend that much on an e-hardtail, you can alternatively look at the Copperhead EVO 2 750 for 3.999 euros or the Copperhead EVO 1 750 for 3.799 euros. Of course you have to make a few minor compromises with the built-in components, but the new Bosch system and the large battery are available in all variants.
