Tom Dumoulin breaks his wrist
After his comeback a few weeks ago, he got better and better, wanted to contest the Lombardy Tour and the World Championships. Now, however, Tom Dumoulin's season has come to an early end. During yesterday's practice session in the Ardennes, the Dutchman was hit by a turning car. The 30-year-old broke his wrist. This means that he will be out for several weeks. He is scheduled for surgery in Maastricht on Friday. It was not until July that he was successful at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, when he won silver in the time trial.
