The E-Riot model family from Ghost, which was newly introduced last season, will be growing for 2022. The trail version that is already available gets alternatives for use in rough terrain with AM and EN models. The Ghost E-Riot AM comes with 160 mm of travel at the front and rear, the EN even has 170 at the front. Both are equipped with the new Bosch Smart System, which, in addition to the new LED remote, Kiox 300 display, also comes with a large 750 Wh battery. This feeds the well-known CX motor, which can now be individually adapted to your own needs via an app. All information about the new Bosch system can be found in our corresponding article.

Bosch Smart System: Large battery, new operating concept and connected biking
Product News / E-Bike: With the Bosch Smart System, the e-bike giant from Reutlingen offers a completely new ecosystem for e-MTBs. With the well-known CX motor, but also a large battery, new operating concept and lots of smart features including its own app. It's that time again: A new drive from Bosch is in the starting blocks! In contrast to […]
The new Ghost E-MTBs rely on the now established Super Fit geometry: the frame, attachments and even the suspension travel change depending on the frame size in order to offer the same riding experience across the entire spectrum. In the specific case of the E-Riot, this means, for example, that the chain stays in size S are significantly shorter. In the smallest size, Ghost also uses 27,5 inch wheels - otherwise there are 29ers throughout, front and rear. Otherwise, the dimensions of both models are extremely modern: The main frame is quite long - so there is plenty of room to move around on the bike and to shift weight. Supplemented by the slack steering and steep seat angle, the E-Riot should play to its strengths in particular when the terrain is demanding and the speed is high.
Ghost E-Riot AM Fully Party
The highlight model of the Ghost E-Riot AM models is the equipment variant 'Full Party' - and the name says it all: With the potent RockShox suspension made of ZEB Ultimate at the front and Super Deluxe Ultimate dampers, snappy Sram Code RSC brakes and Maxxis Minion DHF /DHR tires you can really let it rip on the trail. As with all models with the new Bosch system, the main frame is made of carbon and the rear end is made of aluminum. According to the manufacturer, the weight is around 24 kg – cost: 6.999 euros
Ghost E-Riot EN Pro
If you want a little more spring travel reserves and an even more descent-oriented orientation, you should take a closer look at the Ghost E-Riot EN; We are particularly impressed by the top model EN Pro. The chassis with Fox 38 Performance fork and DHX steel spring damper promises a vacuum cleaner feeling on the trail and smooth running even at high speeds. If you want to throttle this again, you can rely on the 4-piston stoppers from Shimano's SLX series. Gears are shifted with a 12-speed mix, also from Shimano, where XT and SLX components are used. For 6.499 euros, Ghost offers a complete package that is also attractively priced.
