Frey / Stiebjahn before Sarrou / Beers

On the penultimate day of the Absa Cape Epic, Team Bulls struck again. Martin Frey / Simon Stiebjahn won the sixth section and thus secured their second place overall. To the leaders Jordan Sarrou/Matthew Beers (NinetyOne-songo-Specialized) still missing 6:38,3. The Frenchman and the South African only lost 1,5 seconds today. Third place went Hans Becking / Jose Dias (Buff Scott MTB), who previously had two stage wins. With that, the Dutchman and the Portuguese move ever closer to the Italian duo Samuele Porro / Fabian Rabensteiner (Trek-Pireli), who still hold third place.

Frei / Stigger only narrowly win this time

On the seventh day of the Cape Epic are allowed to Sina Frei / Laura Stigger (NinetyOne-songo-Specialized) are happy about their seventh day win. This time, however, the Swiss and the Austrian can thank their competitors for this. Because while they had taken a wrong turn just before their destination, they were waiting Candice Lill / Mariske Strauss as if they were teammates. In the sprint for the day's win, it looked for a long time as if the two South Africans would have the edge. Strauss did indeed cross the line first, but the Swiss-Austrian duo outstripped Lill to win today!

Sarrou attacks first! BULLS 2 respond. Beers have run out of fizz (sorry not sorry). BULLS 2 take Stage 6!#capeepic

Stunning finish to the women's Stage 6 – Mariske Strauss over the line first, but Sina Frei and Laura Stigger cross together ahead of Candice Lill and take their 7th stage win. That was flat-out racing all day. The women gave it all.#capeepic #epicwomen
