Cycling: The first two days of the European Railway Championships in Grenchen went quite well for the Federation of German Cyclists. The women can look forward to silver and even a gold medal.
Chasers win EM gold
On the second day of the European Railway Championships in Grenchen, the Federation of German Cyclists can celebrate their first gold medal. In the 4000 meter team pursuit, the German women's four gave the Italians no chance. Franziska Brauße, Lisa Brennauer, Mieke Kröger and Laura üßmilch were more than 7 seconds faster in the final. After winning Olympic gold, they now also win European Championship gold.

Silver for the team sprinters
The women were able to celebrate on the first day of the European Railways. In the team sprint, Lea Sophie Friedrich, Pauline Sophie Grabosch and Alessa-Catriona only lost to the Dutch women in the final. They also set a new world record with a time of 46,551.
