Geero 2 Black Deals: Up to 500 euros discount on the slim e-bikes from Austria

The Geero Black Deals are back: This year there are again hefty discounts on the slim e-bikes from the Styrian manufacturer. You can look forward to discounts of up to 500 euros. But watch out: Even if the campaign itself runs until 29.11. is running, the reduced models are limited - so it's worth being quick! All information including all links to the individual campaign models can be found at the end of the article.

Geero – an Austrian success story

The story of Geero so far sounds almost too romantic to be true: In 2010, the two brothers Tomy and Michael Rath founded the manufacturer bikee on their local farm, from which the Geero brand emerged in 2016. In the meantime, the manufacturer from Styria has become one of the first points of contact for those who want a slim e-bike for touring and everyday use and who value sustainability and local production. With niceshops GmbH, a strong partner has also been brought on board who takes care of marketing and logistics.

The Geero - the pragmatic name of the first e-bike - was ahead of its time. With its low weight, integrated battery and slim silhouette, it was a real exotic in 2016. Just for classification: Bosch was only to present the first integrated rechargeable batteries a year later. Today, on the other hand, the Geero is very trendy as a stylish companion on two wheels. Accordingly, it is not surprising that the successor presented last year, the Geero 2, does not change anything in this successful concept.

Innovative frame design made in Austria

The heart of the Geero 2 is its frame, of which one is quite rightly proud. They didn't just want to order a ready-made catalog frame from Asia, add a Geero sticker and sell it. Instead, the Geero is a real, own product, in which a lot of love, work, brain power and passion has gone into it. Every tube shape, every screw and every detail, no matter how small, was penned by the Austrian development team. More than 20 different manufacturers supply the individual parts of the frame before it is then combined into one piece. It then comes to Austria in a bare aluminum robe and is given a particularly impact-resistant powder coating. Bike assembly, logistics and service also take place within a few kilometers of the company headquarters south of Graz.

An inconspicuous, but all the more important highlight on the frame of the Geero 2 is the integration of the battery. With 444 Wh, it only holds a little more than the predecessor, but it can now be removed. Nothing stands in the way of convenient charging in the apartment. In order to stow the compact battery safely in the down tube, a special mechanism has been developed together with a renowned lock manufacturer that takes up very little space. The high-quality Panasonic cells supply a silent and maintenance-free hub motor in the rear wheel, which with its torque of 40 Nm offers more than enough power for everyday tasks and can also score with a very natural driving behavior.

Evolution instead of revolution: lighting system and OLED display

In this model year, too, Geero has remained true to itself: instead of presenting new models every year like many other manufacturers and thus making the predecessor "old", they rely on detailed improvements and constant further development. With the Geero 2+ models, for example, one of the biggest points of criticism has been eliminated and a high-quality, permanently installed lighting system has been added. This is of course fed by the internal battery and fits into the design of the bike.

The new display is compatible with all Geero 2 and Geero 2+ models.

The situation is similar with the display: The Austrians have already made some improvements here with the Geero 2 and equipped the model with a compact, very stylish and easy-to-read display in the control unit. If you don't want to do without a large display, you can retrofit an OLED display that is mounted in the middle of the handlebars.

Geero Black Deals: Geero 2 Original from 2.290 euros!

The Geero 2 is available in three different equipment variants, each in two colors and frame shapes. While the Geero 2 Original relies on minimalist equipment, but can score points with its low weight and low price, the City and Touring models are well prepared for everyday life or the next bike tour.

There is a whopping 500 euros discount on the Black Deal models of the Geero 2 Original - 200 euros are saved on the Geero 2 Touring + and City + models. All Black Deal models are strictly limited - so it pays to be quick.
