POC winter collection: With the bike through the cold season

Product news: For the first time POC comes with a special collection for the cold, wet and dark season. The boundaries between the end and the beginning of the season are becoming increasingly blurred and not only ambitious bikers want to be on the road all year round. The new POC winter collection wants to defy the most adverse weather conditions and support every rider on their tours in the cold months. We have an overview of some of the highlights of the collection for you.

POC Consort MTB Dungaree Dungarees

The Consort MTB Dungaree dungarees have been one of the most popular products among bikers since the beginning of the year. It's not for nothing that these trousers have also secured one of the coveted ISPO 'Winner' awards. No matter how wet or muddy it is on the trails, the Consort MTB dungarees are a loyal companion. Designed for wet, muddy weather, these dungarees will keep you warm and dry. The extremely hard-wearing three-layer stretch material with Cordura reinforcements is highly breathable, abrasion-resistant and waterproof. On the inside, a polyamide tricot makes it comfortable to wear. The side 2-way zip ensures easy access and good ventilation, while a single zip on the other side regulates ventilation. There is space for small items in the zipped pockets, so you can always carry everything you need with you. The elastic and adjustable braces and the waist adjustment ensure a perfect fit. In addition, the POC dungarees can be combined with knee pads.

POC Oseus VPD Layer - The base layer with back protector

Another highlight for bike adventures on cold days is a brand new base layer protection system. The Oseus VPD Layer comes with a back protector with the highest level of protection that was developed for both mountain biking and winter sports. Tested under extreme temperatures (-20 °C and +40 °C), the system offers temperature-stable protection in every climate zone. The layer is made from a wool-polyester blend that offers warmth and durability, regulates temperature and has the same compression as regular base layers. In addition, the protector plate can be easily removed.

It's made from an insulated stretch fabric with recycled double-layer thermal polyamide. The hoodie has a durable outer material for extra protection on the trail. The DWR finish and windproof properties provide protection in unpredictable weather. A versatile 1/4 zip hoodie for easy changing and ventilation. A glasses case at chest height and a rear zip pocket are other practical features.

Combined with various waterproof and hard-wearing three-layer materials on the calves, knees, seat and back, the pants also ensure that you stay dry and comfortable on wet trails.
