Valencia Tour #4: Moschetti wins the sprint in Torrevieja

Cycling: Matteo Moschetti celebrates his first win of the season. The Italian won stage four of the Tour of Valencia in a bunch sprint. The overall leader remains the Russian Aleksandr Vlasov.

Moschetti ahead of Peñalve and Kristoff

Celebrated the day before yesterday Fabio Jacobsen (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) confidently won his day in the mass sprint. Today the Dutchman had no chance because he was stuck in the crucial last meters. Instead, cheer Matteo Moschetti (Trek – Segafredo). The Italian was able to get ahead of the Spaniard Manuel Penalve (Burgos – BH) and the Norwegian alexander kristoff (Intermarché – Wanty – Gobert Matériaux). Even after the 193,1 kilometer penultimate stage from Orihuela to Torrevieja, the Russian remains Alexander Vlasov (Bora – hansgrohe) First place overall. The teams DSM and BikeExchange - Jayco did not start again due to positive corona tests. Tomorrow the tour ends with a flat stage in Valencia.
