Teuns starts early and doesn't let anyone pass
has five times Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) won the Flèche Wallonne, three times Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl). But today the Spaniard and the French met their match in Dylan teuns (Bahrain-Victorious). After 202,1 kilometers on the Mur de Huy, the Belgian picked up early and, to the surprise of many, did not let up. First, tour winner lost Tadej pogacar (UAE) the rear wheel, then Alejandro Valverde couldn't keep up either. After his two stage wins in the Tour de France, Dylan Teuns is celebrating the greatest success of his career. The Russian completes behind him and Valverde Alexander Vlasov (Bora – hansgrohe) the podium. World champion Alaphilippe had to be content with fourth place, while tour winner Pogacar was only twelfth.
How about for a dramatic finish?!
