Cycling: After 2019, Remco Evenepoel has won the Clasica San Sebastian for the second time in his career. The Belgian simply left the entire competition standing far from the finish line and was in no danger of taking his solo victory.

Remco Evenepoel (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) made a triumphant return after his brief hiatus with a truly impressive performance . The Belgian made all his rivals look like mere spectators at the one-day race in San Sebastian, crossing the finish line with a lead of nearly two minutes. Behind him, Frenchman Pavel Sivakov (Ineos Grenadiers) and fellow Belgian Tiesj Benoot (Jumbo-Visma) completed the podium. When the still only 22-year-old Evenepoel launched his attack well before the finish, no one could or would follow. However, it was too late for a comeback, as the Belgian executed his solo attack flawlessly, showing no weaknesses whatsoever. This victory marks his second in San Sebastian, following his win in 2019.
