Cycling: Marlen Reusser celebrated her greatest success at the Tour de France Femmes. The Swiss won the fourth stage as a soloist with a lead of almost one and a half minutes.
Reusser drives away from everyone
With what is arguably the biggest win of her career, schnapps Marlene Reusser (SD Worx) took victory on stage four of the Tour de France Femmes. The Swiss got away and couldn't be caught by the interested teams in the group behind her. 1:24 minutes after her Evita Muzic (FDJ – SUEZ – Futuroscope) and Alena Amialiusik (Canyon//SRAM) took second and third place. The overall leader Marianne Vos (Jumbo – Visma) was fifth and thus won the sprint of the peloton.
Marlene Reusser:
“Today we decided to make it difficult and not let the finale be easy. I was lucky because I could jump away. I am very grateful to the team. We worked very well together today. I don't know if this is my biggest win yet, but I know it's very special."
"To win on such an incredible, epic stage... !" ✨
