Kask helmet and Koo goggles: The perfect combination of Italy

9 November 2022 by Florian Nowak

Product news: With its two brands Kask and Koo, the Italian manufacturer offers protection for cyclists in all situations. The Kask Valegro helmet and the Koo Demos goggles offer a perfect combination.

Kask Valegro helmet

The Kask Valegro helmet was developed in cooperation with the leading WorldTour Team Sky (now Ineos Grenadiers) and with its 37 openings offers the best ventilation when riding in the mountains or in hot temperatures and at the same time minimal weight. In addition, the Kask Valegro is safer than a Kask helmet before. It exceeds European safety standards by 48% and offers a significant improvement in front, back, and top effects over its predecessor.

The profile of the Valegro's polycarbonate shell has been wind tunnel tested and refined by Kask engineers to achieve the best results in terms of thermal cooling performance. The helmet offers advanced ventilation and an impressive weight of just 180 grams in size S. This new design offers maximum cooling through 37 vents with new breathable and quick-drying padding.

The 5mm thick layer of fast-wicking, thermoformed, three-dimensional padding is anti-static, bacteriostatic, thermo-regulating and moisture-transferring using Resistex Carbon. In addition to this innovative technology, the chin pad with eco-leather straps contributes to the helmet being comfortable to wear all day long.

Koo Demo's glasses

As a perfect complement to the Kask Valegro, the manufacturer offers sporty glasses under its own brand Koo, which not only appeal to fans of unusual design, but also meet the needs of cyclists who do not want to make any compromises on and off the road.

The frame design of the Koo Demos not only increases eye protection, but also offers unrestricted vision, no matter what position you are on the bike. Thanks to two openings at the top of the lens, fogging is effectively minimized in all conditions. The Zeiss Anti-Reflection Technology further improves the lenses, as reflections on both the outside and inside of the lens are eliminated. This improves light transmission, contrast and visual acuity and the eyes tire noticeably later. The interchangeable and double-adjustable nose pads also enable optimal adjustment for first-class wearing comfort.
