Raffle: Win a Busch+Müller IQ-XM LED headlight

20 January 2023 by Florian Nowak

Raffle: The German manufacturer Busch+Müller has been producing lighting equipment for bicycles since 1925. What began back then with the production of cat eyes, among other things, now stands for the development and manufacture of high-tech lighting for bicycles of all kinds. One of these current high-end devices is the IQ-XM high-beam headlight. This model is aimed specifically at sporty cyclists and is extremely popular with road bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes. As a special highlight (warning: word joke) we are giving away three Busch+Müller IQ-XM Speed LED headlights with battery pack worth over 299 euros.

The Busch+Müller IQ-XM Speed LED headlight is one of the most popular high beam headlights from the German manufacturer. Thanks to the external battery, the model found its way to sporty bicycles such as racing bikes, gravel or mountain bikes in a very short time. The compact and light construction also allows hanging mounting on the handlebars. The stable twist-lock handlebar holder for all round handlebar types with a diameter of 22 to 32 mm also supports this.

Busch+Muller IQ-XM: Battery high beam for road, gravel and mountain bikes

The individual light levels of the Busch+Müller IQ-XM are particularly impressive. In low beam mode, the IQ-XM Speed has three levels from 20 to 120 lux. Pressing the high beam button pushes the light/dark boundary upwards, because in high beam mode it even delivers a whopping 170 lux.

The battery pack delivers 4.600 mAh and is attached to the bike frame with a practical Velcro strap. Five blue LEDs on the battery show the charge level, with each LED representing 20% capacity. As a useful additional feature, the battery can also be used as a power bank.

Busch+Müller IQ-XM: Battery life at a glance

  • 170 lux in high beam mode (90 min.)
  • 120 lux in the highest low beam level (4,5 hours)
  • 70 lux in the middle low beam level (7 hours)
  • 20 lux in the lowest low beam level (23 hours)
