Raffle: Win Nutcase bike helmets

March 21, 2023 by Caspar Gebel

Nutcase bike helmets

Raffle Nutcase bicycle helmets: The everyday helmets for children and adults ensure a good mood with their colorful designs, offer a lot of safety and promise high wearing comfort. Velomotion is giving away three times three models for big and small.

What is safe and makes you happy? The bicycle helmets from Nutcase, for example, especially the models for (small) children. The supplier stands out first of all with its large range of different colors and decors: The “Baby Nutty” model is available in 17 different variants; the "Little Nutty" is even available in 27 versions. It's seldom so imaginative and colorful in the bicycle world; the fact that most designs are kept in light tones is an additional plus in traffic. And in kindergarten or elementary school, thanks to a very individual model, young wearers will hardly ever reach for the wrong helmet.

Nutcase bicycle helmets for children: More safety with MIPS

Nutcase helmets offer safety thanks to their robust outer shell, which makes them more resistant to rough handling. A hard-shell helmet like this can withstand being dropped or scratched without compromising its functionality. Interestingly, the manufacturer equips the Baby Nutty and Little Nutty models with a MIPS inner shell, which is designed to improve protection against rotational impacts . The shape of these children's helmets provides extensive protection from the forehead to the back of the head, while the flat back design is ideal for carrying them in a child trailer.

In terms of comfort, the magnet closure, which can be opened with one hand, and the removable visor should be emphasized. The very small helmet comes in one size for a head circumference of 48-52 cm, the Little Nutty for 48-52 and 52-56 cm.

The helmet extends far down at the back of the head and can therefore also be worn when skating etc.

More visible on the bike: Nutcase Vio Commute

The Nutcase helmets for adults are a bit more subtle, but still quite varied. The Vio Commute is offered in nine color variants, including several rather dark ones - no problem, because the outstanding feature of this helmet is its integrated 360° lighting. This consists of a white front light with the Nutcase logo and a surrounding LED light strip with orange-yellow diodes on the sides and red ones on the back. Helmet lighting is a clear safety gain, especially in heavy traffic, because the bicycle lights can be covered by other vehicles, which reduces visibility beyond the immediate vicinity.

The Vio Commute also features a MIPS inner shell, removable visor, and Fidlock magnetic closure; for a good fit, it comes in three sizes ( 52-55/55-59/59-62 cm). Nine large vents ensure optimal ventilation, making the helmet suitable not only for e-bikers who tend to get warmer.
