Thanks to improved clamping functions and revised clamps on the tripod, the Pro Mechanic should be even more durable, stable and easier to use.
Feedback Sports launches the next evolution of their flagship repair stand, the Pro Elite, with the Pro Mechanic. The new model comes with many innovations that promise a better feel and increased stability. A new crank lock is used for quick and precise closing in combination with the patented Speed-Ratchet clamp opening. Also new is the larger screw cap on the back. This is to ensure better ergonomics and leverage when tightening the clamp arm. The design of the clamps on the tripod has been completely revised in favor of a stable hold and a long service life. The inner workings of the coupling between the clamping arm and the tripod have also been redesigned. Compared to the previous model, the improvement brings 110% more holding power for the 360 degree rotatable clamping arm. Last but not least, the designers have given the Feedback Sports Pro Mechanic repair stand new rubber clamping jaws that can be replaced without tools.
The construction is made of anodized 6061 T6 aluminum and weighs 5,4 kilograms. The load capacity range of up to 15,8 kilograms allows the maintenance of most bicycles, the maximum load is 34 kilograms. Like the Pro Elite, the Pro Mechanic is of course also suitable for travel thanks to the extendable tripod design. Together with the Pro Mechanic HD, the duo forms the top of the range of repair stands for professional mechanics and hobbyists. The Pro Mechanic repair stand will be delivered fully assembled and will be available from mid-May at a price of EUR 425,00. In addition, the packaging of all Feedback Sports repair stands has been revised with the new stand in order to reduce packaging waste. According to Feedback Sports, the new packaging system is made from 100% paper and pulp and contains no plastic.
