Because Primoz Roglic was able to win the Tour with just 14 seconds ahead of Geraint Thomas - one of the closest decisions in the history of the Tour of Italy. Evenepoel Giro d'Italia Time Trial

The 106th Giro d'Italia started with a bang. Top favorite Remco Evenepoel won the opening time trial by a large margin. Even specialists like Stefan Küng or Filippo Ganna didn't stand a chance against the road world champion. It was already clear here: the Belgian will be difficult to beat.
