Cycling: Emanuel Buchmann has secured the German championship title on the road for the second time in his career. The pro from the Bora-hansgrohe team won in Bad Dürrheim after 215 kilometers.

Emanuel Buchmann secured the German Championship title on a very hilly 215-kilometer course from Donaueschingen to Bad Dürrheim . Around 50 kilometers after the start, the German professional team Bora-Hansgrohe made their move. After a drastic increase in pace, the eventual winner broke away from the already significantly reduced peloton. The 30-year-old effortlessly extended his lead to over two minutes, thanks in part to his teammates who effectively closed the gap in the breakaway group. Later in the race, Nico Denz and Maximilian Schachmann also managed to escape, completing a Bora-Hansgrohe sweep of the podium.
