Children’s e-bike subscription: The smart solution for young cyclists

August 18, 2023 by Florian Nowak

Children's e-bikes on subscription: The e-bike is no longer just one of the most popular sports equipment and means of transport for adults, but also the youngest bikers benefit from the additional power of e-bikes. Due to the growth of the children, however, they often have the problem of only being able to ride a bike for one or two seasons, which of course can quickly become expensive. An e-bike subscription can be the smart solution for this, because the provider Rebike comes with high-quality children's e-bikes for rent with a flexible term.

With a flexible term of between three and 24 months, Rebike offers an attractive e-bike subscription model for children's e-bikes. While you can adapt the term to your own needs, theft insurance, service and repairs are already included. This not only enables e-bike fun for the whole family, but also prevents the children from "outgrowing" the expensive e-bike too quickly.

What does all-round carefree subscription mean?

Whether for children or adults – the Rebike e-bike subscription is a full-service offer. In addition to delivery directly to your home within a few days, the e-bike is already pre-assembled and ready to ride in just a few simple steps. Theft insurance is also part of the subscription, as is a high-quality bicycle lock, so that you don’t have to worry about it while using it. In addition, repairs or a service are also included in the subscription, so that there are no costs for the customer. The freely selectable subscription periods between three and 24 months are particularly practical.

What happens after the end of the subscription period?

When the subscription ends, you don't want to worry about the return process. This is exactly why you don't have to worry about anything and the e-bike is picked up directly at home by a forwarding agent. All rental returns from the e-bike subscription are overhauled at the Rebike Refurbishment Center in Kempten and brought into perfect technical condition. They will then find a new owner on rebike.com. This ensures that the bikes can continue to be used over the long term.

These children's e-bikes are available on subscription!

Every young cyclist should really find what they are looking for with an e-bike subscription, because the provider has a lot to offer with a wide range of different brands. Brand new in the portfolio are the Woom UP 5 (for children aged 7 to 11) and the Woom UP 6 (for children aged 10 to 14). With the Macina Mini Me 441 and the Macina Mini Me 561, KTM also has two models to choose from for different sizes. The prices for a subscription to a children's e-bike are based on the RRP and the duration of the subscription. You start at 99 euros per month. An even larger portfolio of models is available for parents. In line with the premium all-round service, Rebike deliberately focuses on quality in its portfolio and works exclusively with top brands such as Cannondale, Flyer, Focus, KTM, Orbea, Scott or Stromer. Here the prices start at 49 euros per month.

Florian Nowak is a professional cyclist at the EuropeTour level and has competed in many international races. At the German championship in 2017, he was the best non-WorldTour professional in 7th place and was therefore able to recommend himself for the Tour de L'Avenir and the World Championships. But he doesn't just feel comfortable on the racing bike, he's also always drawn to off-road terrain. In addition to sport, he works on his second mainstay and has completed his business administration studies at the LMU Munich.
