Super B Steel Core Tire Levers TB-5566: First Impression
The Steel Core Tire Levers TB-5566 impress with an innovative design, which allows a deep insight into the inside of the tire lever. The viewing window embedded in the nylon shell allows a view of the heat-treated steel core. The XLC TO-S59 Tire Lever, which we already tested, has a similar design. As with this tire lever, the viewing window allows the set of 3 to be clipped together in a practical manner. The striking design of the lever and the thick shovel are also striking.
The bicycle tire levers in the test
The striking construction of the Steel Core Tire Levers does not promise too much. Thanks to the high dimensional stability and the good feel, a very efficient transfer of force is possible. The tube and rim are protected from damage by the generously dimensioned nylon coating. The centrally placed spoke hook can be reliably fixed and thus supports uncomplicated tire removal. Only with tight-fitting tires can the relatively thick shovel only be pushed under the tire bead with greater effort.
